Brighton's reports into abuse

This made me laugh! They missed out "Stand up, cos you can't sit down!" This is incredible, Brighton really need to get a grip, it's called banter and Brighton is known as the gay capital of the UK. What do the Brighton fans expect? We don't complain with the sheepshagger chants to us every game and getting racially discriminated against! Fair play to Colin Kazim-Richards, bending over and rubbing his arse in front of the Brighton fans, what a legend!

Fairplay to em I say as they literally must be sick and tired of the same rubbish at every game. We get called sheepshaggers about once in a blue moon but all Brighton get are these stoneage songs. Richards should know better as well.

I was in the Ninian Block 117 next to the away fans last season and the majority of teams we played chanted sheepshaggers to us. We also pretty much get sheepshaggers chanted to us at every away game.

They need to grow a pair. Abuse happens at every game. Why don't they just give the referee and commentators a frigging microphone and we'll have headphones instead and be banned from talking and chanting? Have a fan headphone disco or something. At least that way if we don't talk no one can be offended. Howard Webb gets called baldy, slap head and other terms all the time. Why is it any different for him? I doubt he chose to be bald and its just a genetic trait.

Its just getting ridiculous now. If you don't like it then just stay in your house, roll up in a ball of cotton wall in a corner and waste your existence until you eventually die. At least then the rest of us who actually obtain a backbone and a set of bollocks can just get by in life without listening to your pathetic libertarian cries and health and safety nonsense.

I personally think it's pathetic they are making an issue out of this to be honest. It's harmless banter. We put up with all this racial abuse and if we went as far as doing what Brighton are doing and banned opposing fans from chanting offensive welsh songs to us, I wouldn't consider us a football club! Part of the day out for me when travelling away is having the home fans chanting stuff to us and we chant stuff back. It's banter and removing this will kill the atmosphere.

I also think good on Kazim-Richards for what he did, if fans dish it out, they have to take it as well and once again, it's harmless banter. The Brighton fans may have been making racist comments to Kazim-Richards initially to cause him to react. These Brighton fans need to learn to try and have a laugh, enjoy their day out, not take everything to heart and give some banter back. They surprise me as I always considered them a big club with a passionate fan base.

It's no different than racist chanting and pretty pathetic school boy rubbish.

Feck me. I've seen it all now. I sit next to the away and they chant sheep-shaggers at EVERY game. But even the kids laugh at it. So Brighton are happy to sing sheepshaggers but dont want any banter back?! No wonder their known as poofs. And they left out the classic, "You only sing when your rimming". Poofs.

Hypocritical. Even this article highlights why

"Only 29 of 92 clubs are actively engaged in the 'Football v Homophobia' initiative which launched in February."

Premier League: Arsenal, Aston Villa, Liverpool, Manchester City, Norwich, Sunderland, West Ham, West Brom
Championship: Birmingham, Blackburn, Crystal Palace, Huddersfield, Ipswich, Leicester, Millwall, Peterborough, Sheffield Wednesday
League One: Carlisle, Crewe, Doncaster, Leyton Orient, MK Dons, Preston, Tranmere
League Two: Bristol Rovers, Exeter, Gillingham, Dagenham & Redbridge, Northampton

NO BRIGHTON. Their own club isn't even backing an initiative!

They are embarassing.

Attention seeking fools.

'Fans are in fear going to games' load of shite.

I cant believe any of these fans went to games 70,s 80,s you had more than being called names to worry about at away games. all they probably want is a group hug........ Ummmm i think we will give that a miss ;)
