mondays protest

Wed Apr 03, 2013 1:20 pm

i also witnessed Mondays pathetic protest by a few schoolboys, not only was it embarrassing, it also put the club back in the news for all the wrong reasons, being over 50, it is hard to image these lads watching Cardiff play in the 70s/80s with 1800 or so supporters, we are now in a position where we get full houses every week and a great atmosphere, lets not spoil the party now with only a few weeks left, who would believe we could be witnessing something special, as a footnote if the owners or directors read this the majority of supporters support you 100%, as for the schoolboys they will have to read this after school. :ayatollah:

I don't think the march on Monday was taken seriously by anyone, even those who oppose the rebrand.

That said age should never be a barrier to expressing one's opinion and those youngsters had every right to march if they wanted to irrespective of what happened in the 1970's

I agree that 'age' shouldn't be an issue in the norm. It is no-ones 'fault' that they were born when they were BUT we have to accept that there is a distinct naivety amongst many of our young supporters which culminated in this ill-planned march

The simple fact is that those who have supported the club for many years and have taken time to consider the 'realities' of what nearly happened prior to Vincent Tan (or maybe TG :ayatollah: ) and can take a more 'experienced' view when it comes to him (VT) wanting to stamp his own mark on the club he has bankrolled to the top of The Chamionpship

Not 'knocking' the young (I wish I was still one of them!! ) but sometimes all the protests in the world won't make a jot of difference; particularly if poorly planned :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Why are all these threads about the march being started by people with 1 post?
