THIS SEASON'S BOTTLERS

1ST Leicester City
2ND Middlesbrough
3RD Crystal Palace

Any alternatives?

I think that is about spot on.

Good competition there, but Leicester deserve it the most due to their administrations wiping out debts and the money spent on players.
Thought they would be auto promotion candidates without a doubt, so they really are the bottlers. Think they could miss play off place as well, so it could get worse for them.

Palace seem to go on holiday early each season. 3pts from 9 games last season was shocking.

2009 - 7pts from 27
2010 - 7pts from 21 (also went into administration)
2011 - 6pts from 21
2012 - 3pts from 27

Bloody he'll, they're bigger bottlers than us. Do you have the comparative figures for us? We've got some real competition in the choker league table

Our pts total for the end of each season was not really an issue, it was when we got into the play-off stages and could not get over the line.

Even the debacle in 2009 that saw us finish 7th on goals scored from Preston was only poor for the last 4 games where we only took 1pt. Prior to that we won 3 on the bounce. However I will show like for like with Palace's table above.

2009 - 11pts from 27
2010 - 14pts from 21
2011 - 14pts from 21
2012 - 17pts from 27

As you can see we finished better than them every season, but you have to remember that we were around the play-offs and Palace were playing for nothing. Could they follow their previous end of season form?

In the Premiership it could well be Swansea.

Stuck on 40 points if they did lose all their remaining games......

Bristol City fans were talking about winning the league when they beat us 4-2 at the beginning of the season so they've got to be in there somewhere

I remember it will mate, thank god we wont have to go to that shithole again for awhile
The 2008/2009 was our worst case of "bottling it". 2009/2010 Blackpool wanted it more than us which hurt. 2010/2011 was Jones coming to the end ,we got what we deserved and were thankfully saved from a mauling from the jacks at Wembley. Last season was not bottling it, we punched above our weight and coupled with the cup run had a damn good season considering the changes.
Hopefully leicester get their act together and take points from watford at the end of the month

It's not too late for us to claim the title, it's not over till the fat lady sings, 7 games left for us to f**k it up.

Hey, we're not bottlers at all, we're strong finishers! I'm pleasantly surprised by these stats. Shouldn't we be in the Premier League?
