Cardiff City, set new lows today at football.

Mon Apr 01, 2013 11:56 pm

Cardiff City fans on a march through Canton, chanting wankers at parents with kids with red scarfs set a new low for me today.

This is a disgrace and there is no excuse for it.

On the pitch it was as good as we have been all season. First half we were in total contral and if we had scored earlier the game would have been over by half time.

I've never understood people's obsession with what other people do.

I sat in the pub about 10 of us, guy next to me had a black new top with the new badge, otherside had a red scarf, I was the only one with a blue top on. Did I care? No. Did anyone else care? No. We had a brill chat about everything Cardiff city :ayatollah:

I am not bothered.

I could easily have mentioned the time I walked out of the Derby home game when I got some verbal abuse from 2 lads who looked 17-20 walking out of the ground the night it happened.

It doesn't bother me at all what they think.

So i ask again, what did marching at a crucial point of the season before an important home game actually achieve?

Id say it caused more negative than positive from what ive read.

As expected, a bunch of neanderthal teenagers, being drunk and abusive.

They advocate 'league two and blue' when in essence they weren't even supporting the club in the dark days.

The majority of city fans, are enjoying the club and the charge to the PL.

I'd hazard a guess some of the teenagers at Peterborough who through the smoke bomb were on the march.

If either side throw any abuse, it's equally bad - we should respect other fans views on this issue, even where they disagree with our views.

Cmon Magners youve been around the block a few times im sure.

If thats the lowest thing youve seen in over 20 years supporting Cardiff you must have been going around with your eyes closed.

Sounds like they were only kids themselves, weve all been there, drunk and being stupid. Its part of growing up. I know people in their 40's and 50's who still act like twats after a few beers.

Thats not true , I'm against the rebrand but would never shout abuse at other City fans for wearing red , blue or whatever colour they choose to wear , it's their choice not mine

Both bad as eachother but the abuse I have seen from people who are fully against it and that have been calling fans over personally which is just childish.
