I've said it before but I think he's great, he's not had much game time but he didn't panic, had composure to beat defender and drill the ball through the keeper, also won a penalty. I hope he gets more game time now ready for next season in the prem. I think he's gonna be a great player.

IMO still a few years away from playing a lone striker just not athletic enough, BUT great technique and coolness in front of goal. Playing off a frontman until he puts a stone on. Great prospect

mason is a very intelligent footballer, reads the game well and gets himself into the danger areas at just the right times. One thing as i said at the beginning of the season work is needed on his strength and conditioning to help him hold up the ball better to enable him to play the lone striker position if needed.I watched kimbo up the vale put in extra work at night to strenghten up when he couldnt get a start and it has definitely shown to be time well spent.

Big fan of his however, i agree with Malky, the lad is still learning, not far away from becoming a great player and yes he did great today.

Weird thing about mason is that you always seem to know he's scored before he does. Like V Liverpool he gets himself into positions and has the calmness to finish.

I have said a few times on here if you give him a chance when he comes off the bench he will take it.

Listening to Malkys interview after todays game and he was saying how frustrating it's been not being able to put the likes of Mason, KimBo, Mutch (when he's been fit), Ralls into the first eleven because the boys have being doing the business, he was also saying how excited he was for the future of these players including Nooney at Cardiff City .
For me today these players took their chances and deserve to keep their places in the team.
The quality in this years squad is unbelievable in comparison to last years and I think Malkys use of rotation not only today but all season has been key to us sitting top of the league. I love the guy

I like him and would have likes to see him start ahead of HH recently.
Can't help but want something extra from him tho, lacking something.

Yeah I think he needs to toughen up a little, add a bit of HH in him maybe.

Natural position too, is he a lone striker, need a target man/partner or is he going to play as an extra midfielder/behind he striker or behind two strikers.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 435063.stm He was great behind Miller and Earnie in that game.

Yeah, I'd just like to see him be a bit tougher, stick his head in the danger area at times.
