CRINGED AT PROTEST

Mon Apr 01, 2013 12:59 pm

Went along with my 12 year old daughter with all good intentions to show my strength of feeling for blue expecting to see an organised protest but in truth faced a disorganised group of 100 kids with an average age of 15. Mind you there was one lady in her late 30's who looked a bit pissed. Don't know if she was the organiser. Went there hoping to achieve something and came away totally deflated. Why can't someone organise something properly.

As expected, chance of problems due to that fact. Takes one kid to try and make a name for himself, hopefully they will just go into the stadium without an issue.

To be fair the only person I'm cringing for here is you.

Rather than come on here and belittle what the protesters tried to do today, kids or not why not step up to the plate yourself such is your feeling for blue and organise a protest yourself.

Why cant someone organise something properly you say, well that sums you up doest it, waiting for someone else to take the lead.

That is exactly what these kids have done and all you have done is criticize them, lets see if you can do something better, ill keep a watch on here and wait for you to post details of your future plans to try and get the team back to blue.

As I have stated so many times. They are a total waste of time and end up being an embarrassment not only for the people protesting but for the other fans and the club in general.

Idiotic fools :old:

WERE THEY WEARING BLUE?,DID THE ALL STAND TOGETHER? If the answer is yes it was a protest, what were you expecting a riot or something?,did you join in or did you walk away because they were not to your taste?,it was meant to be a peaceful demo at least they did something to show their feeling,I smell an internet troll.

My mate went and described it as people in Stone Island gear more focused on drinking Koppaberg in their Stone Island gear than actually protesting

no disrespect, but what is walking to the stadium all dressed in blue meant to achieve?

im not against fans doing such things but lets be honest what good do they expect to come from doing it before an important game? how about doing it end of season or after promotion?

I seen the march turn into Sloper road and thought it was a school trip to be honest...they were singing about Tan robbing their club and how they hate modern football before happily going in to watch the rebranded football club...kids will be kids

I was going to attend but I didn't bother, it wasn't organized properly at the end of the day.

I think it was just a facebook thing probly why it was only young people going i didnt even know about it till two days ago where it was going from or nothing so i agree it was not organised very well at all tbh if they wanted to get a message across and in numbers maybe more should have been done to advertise it not some social facebook group from what i hear, i've not even sen a STICKY on this forum or mikes board about it either.

you haven't stopped! and for someone who hates the re-brand so much couldn't even be bothered to turn up to a protest?

Re: CRINGED AT PROTEST

Mon Apr 01, 2013 6:46 pm

it was a shambles to be fair, and the very fact that the lad who seemed to be the ringleader was wearing a red coat was a bit odd!
I did feel sorry for those who marched though. there have been many who have been extremely vocal on here and you'd think they would make an effort to actually do something to make a difference.

Re: CRINGED AT PROTEST

Mon Apr 01, 2013 6:49 pm

It was a shambles. Unless something is organised by someone who isn't in school & can properly organise these things, there's no point bothering. It could also do more damage than good.

Respect to the people for trying - I won't mock them like some, at least they tried. :ayatollah:

Nukes i've never met you but you seem a bizarre character. If anybody could be accused of bullying it was you when the news of the rebrand broke. You were throwing your weight around on here on a daily basis.
Now you seem proud that Cardiff fan seems to be against Cardiff fan! I cant work you out mate

Feel free to quote me :ayatollah:

I didn't turn up to a poorly organized protest. There's a difference.
