More and more people are using the term UK rather than Wales when asked where they come from.

Given the majority of people consider themselves British etc shouldn't England and Wales play as one?

Scotland have much more of an identity than Wales.

These aren't my views but I do believe a large % in Wales would go along with this.

most people will just accept losing the welsh football history because it will bring a little bit of success and without it we will allways be a nearly team , even if they will have to play in white with 3 lions on there chest

My view is the complete opposite. 66% of people in the recent referendum referred to themselves as 'Welsh only', as opposed to 'Welsh/ British. Thankfully, Team GB will never happen again.

i call myself welsh when it comes to sport , but i am british for everything else

a british team for world cups would be ok i suppose but i like european championships to be left seperate .
lets be fair though realistically only bale ,bellamy and ramsey would have a chance of making a british team , probably none from n ireland or scotland (maybe rhodes ) so would be england really !

I don't understand those who say they're "Welsh not British". Wales is in Britain, therefore if you are Welsh, you are British. Why live in denial?

Perhaps its a state of mind......there are many who say they are Welsh and British yet not a European.
