Which is the best call of duty to buy?

Just thinking about buying call of duty and I'm not sure which one to get.

I haven't played either and my mate reckons that the 1st one is best

So just looking for some advice

COD 4 is my favourite out of all of them. COD 5 is decent as well.

Just get Black ops 2 because that's what everybody else is playing

Theyre all pretty much the same. Just buy the latest one as everyone is playing it

For campaign mode start with modern warfare, then mw2 mw3, forget world at war. For online mode get black ops 2 cos thats what being played now. Modern warfare is my favourite and you can download it from the PlayStation store so you haven't even got to leave the sofa

Call Of Duty 4 is by far the best.

What's the campaign mode like on back ops 2?

Depends why you're buying it.

Are you getting it so you can play with your friends?
Are you looking for a good campaign to play by yourself?
Or do you just want to enjoy a new game?

Prob mainly campaign but then I've never played any game online apart from FIFA

Weird, set in the future, its good though. First time I played it I didn't really know what was going on, it all made sense the second time around.
If your buying your first cod I'd go for modern warfare, £12 on ps store or no more than £20 in gamestation.
