Fair comment...but my opinion (don't have a go) I was stood there thinking to myself when he was taken off...what he actually did in the game to be influential..and I couldn't think of one..i don't know if I missed anything but I still can't think it..

I believe as whittingham was the left mid..his job is to get backk and go forward, he hardly ever went forward, didn't attempt to skill the defender and didn't threat, he was back by Taylor all game,

What doesn't help is when teams play 3 in midfield up against whits and gunner. End up getting pushed back too deep. When was the last time they bossed the midfield? Come on MM ffs do something different.

As for noone coming in, he's been poor for months.

He contributed so little, that I didn't realise for ages that he'd been taken off.
That said, it was tricky to see at times through the smoke. tw*t should be banned for life.
Threw it onto the pitch when City were defending. What would of happened if Marshall had of let one in because of being unsighted. Some will never learn.

Conway frustrates me so much, never takes on a man just runs it to silly positions, no pace at all, was at fault for our second penalty by dicking around with it and was at fault when we conceded to Derby. Much prefer Noone I'm sorry, need to be more attacking away

I agree that MM needs to try something different. I'd go with a midfield trio of Gunnar, Whitts and Kimbo with the latter having a roaming role as he holds the ball well, twists and turns and plays lovely short probing passes. I'd have Bellamy and Noone out wide with Campbell leading the line. This way we have a better chance of dominating midfield and playing Campbell in with some nice little passes in and around the box rather than just hoofing it forward as we have been doing lately. If Malky wants to play those tactics why didn't he get a big target man in during January?

Sounds good to me. Should have a least tried it by now, as how MM can be satisfied with our performances these past 2 months beggars belief
