Nothing Has Changed, It's All Good.

The points required to guarantee promotion hasn't changed, it's still 89pts, 14pts from 8 games. :ayatollah:

The earliest we can be promoted has moved on a game to Barnsley (H), everything has to go our way though. :ayatollah:

I reckon we still only need 10pts. Keep the faith, were going up. :ayatollah:

After the results so far over this weekend I would say 83 or maybe even 82 will see us promoted.

89 and we are Champions.

It's still 86 pts and Burnley away but I have big concerns over our defence.

Still 4 wins but the issue is not how many points we need but that we are playing that poorly, where are the wins going to come from?

Stats say one thing, our form says another

Agree, always thought Burnley, but many one here will be threatening suicide after every point we drop. :D

Hull winning means nothing in the race for promotion the most we need was 89pts last night, 89pts at 5pm and still 89pts now. Unless people are all about winning the league.

We had a weekend like Hull last time out, can't have them every week. Remember Watford & Palace have had two weekends of 'mares. :ayatollah:

So where are the points going to come from?
Take our last 10 games and we have scored 15 points. So that is an average of 1.5 points per game. Not our best.
We have 8 games left which on that poor form would mean 8 x 1.5 = 12 points.
It's always tough against a team battling to avoid relegation so I wont get nervous just yet.

12pts will get promotion at a canter. :ayatollah:

Some of our calculations also rely on Watford winning every one of their 7 games!
Their 10 game form is at 1.8 points per game. I don't think that's quite the form necessary to win all of their 7 games ;)

Hull take out Watford next Tuesday and the Hornets can only make 85pts and that's only with 6 straight wins, it ain't gonna happen. :ayatollah:

I feel we need to win Monday. I don't really feel confident we will do it :(

Absolutely no doubt in my mind that if we don't win on Monday then we will be fighting for second place. If we end up going to Hull needing something then it's play offs

God forbid, but i don't think Malky will survive another play off. Come to think of it, neither will our club!

The play offs would be a disaster. We would be so down going into them. It's top 2 or nothing.
