Somewhat evident that we are not creating enough chances on goal and certainly not dominating games.
Do you think that MM should mix the team up a bit and give starting opportunities to Mutch, Kimbo etc it might be a wake up call for those who think they should automatically be on the team sheet

Yes. I feared the worst when I saw the starting line up TBH. We found it difficult against Posh at CCS as they flood the midfield. I would have gone with Campbell up front and a 5 man midfield. Probably Kimbo, Whitts and Gunnar in the middle. We should still make it but I'm disappointed that we are not playing with any sort of swagger. We seem to scrape home by the odd goal from a set piece or a last minute goal to pinch a draw. We must beat Blackburn or the Watford game could see us get one or zero from 9 points

not the team, just the tactics! imo malky sends us out simply not to lose, we never run at teams and always sit back if we're up home and away! other teams control the games, we just wait for the scraps and set pieces! kimbo and co are rarely used so i would like to give them a chance
but then im not the man whose put us top of the chanpionship, so hopefully malky realised what hes doing wrong sooner than later!

Smith has to miss out surely. Hes not being picked on form so really not sure what he is being picked on

Maybe his 20k a week+ promotion bonus has something to do with it, i fail to see what hes done at all bar a goal at blackpool he dont seem to do alot or take anyone on and beat him but hes getting on now, im just looking at this as him playing as a supposed wide player, three points vs blackburn all is forgotten

My boys watched the development game last week and again Etien Velikonja had a real good game and I know that they are different players but he offers a great deal more than Gestede can.
MM needs to give the boy a chance, we are offering nothing up front and I really do fear for the end of season run in

Even better, maybe Malky should learn how to play football, and stop making us play like a school football team.

Yes

Can't fault him away, this was only our away loss in over twelve games if I'm correct, we were just really unlucky with the decisions against us yesterday, at home I want him to make us more exciting, by playing Noone etc, 4-3-3 is a perfect formation to play at home

Should Tan change Malky? Is he good enough tactically for the PL should we get there?

Unlucky with the decisions
The first pen was a stonewalled and it was no more than the posh deserved.

1st one can't deny, second one was dubious, ref caved in under pressure. And before that we dealt with the pressure well, should have had a penalty ourselves

Top of the league, 1-0 up against a team in the relegation zone we should be doing more than just "dealing with pressure" we should be taking it to them and putting the game out of sight.

its not so much the team selection its malkys lack of tactical knowledge and where to play players where they are most effective e.g whitts, last season we started fast and played some attacking football then just before Christmas till end of season bar palace, Blackburn and Liverpool in the cup we played this shit defensive shit and just try nick a goal if we can of set pieces or just keep ball, this season is exactly the same besides blackpool away and Blackburn away and wolves at home I cant really remember us dominated and played great counter attacking football, malky is young and learning he needs learn fast in the summer if we do go up to the prem because these foreign owners have no patience with managers

Can't work it out why he is not playing Kimbo, he always looks good when he plays, also get Mutch back if he is fit

Agree with this.

In all fairness Peterborough won penaltys when it was the only time they broke into our half, didn't deserve them on the judgement of play.
