In honesty we have probably got enough points now to go up. But we are going to pretty much need a whole new team to compete next year.

Spot on the standard this year is really bad, just posted on another thread, that tan thinks we only need 3 signings next season,if we go up,how wrong is he?,if we don't strengthen big, then we are in for a very bad year, that's if we actually go up

The standard of the Premier League is just as excellent as ever. Teams like Man City can't even get a sniff and they are full of the likes of Aguero, Tevez, Yaya, Silva etc etc

If the premier league is so good this year then why is Man United the only team who look like winning the title? You talk nonsense.

The best leagues are now in Germany and Spain. All good for us mind when we get promoted.

The teams at the bottom are utter dross this season & are getting worse.

How do you measure it anyway? Europe is one benchmark. So the prem is weaker, yes?

No not at all.I think the league has stood still and leagues like the Bundesliga got stronger. You now have the likes of PSG and Malaga with hideous amounts of money to throw at it also so we've been caught up with. This season was the first time in donkeys years that we havent had an English team in the semis of the CL.The Europa league is different though.Do you honestly think that next season will be the same again for English clubs in the CL? I bet you the likes of City United and Chelsea will spend big and will be back knocking on the door again.Call it a blip if you like.
