I want to invest in either a laptop iPad or tablet?

As I am an oldie this stuff is all new to me

Any advice on make/cost/or which is best out of the 3 would be appreciated

We are getting rid of the old computer and want something that is portable obviously.

My Mrs trolls the net for everything and I mostly for sports stuff ie City

If you just use it for Internet I'd get a tablet.

Not sure how good they are but they have the advert that's a tablet they click a keyboard on and becomes a light laptop.

if its just for browsing then the ipad 2 would be perfect and its got the widest variety of apps in the apple store . great fun using them especially all the games
