He's my cousin, only young, but has cemented a first team place at Pompey, scoring goals as a centre midfielder (scored again today).

He'll go far...called up to the England under 19's too.

I think Cardiff looked at him a few years ago...Jed use to play in the same team as Ralls at Farnborough I think (another lad came to Cardiff too, can't remember his name).

He deserves it...very committed young guy, trains hard, very disciplined and a good steady head on his shoulders. He's been in a lot of papers recently, sky did an article on him recently suggesting current value of £2m, and a potential alum of £14m in future!

City should take a look again. When Appleton was at Pompey he didn't look at the youth what was available. Jed then went on loan to Whitehawk where he scored something like 11 goals in 12 games! Went back to Pompey when Whittingham took over as manager, and he hasn't been out of the team since!!

I watched this lad play for Whitehawk live in brightob emailed Julian Jenkins f**k all. The guy is a chads player.

Class f*cking phone.

He had a good loan spell at Whithawk - I trhink he scored something like 10 in 12 games? As a central midfielder, it's a good return! They played him in a slightly advanced role, whereas Pompey have him as a natural centre midfielder.

Still young, but a good prospect!

Jed has now been called up to the England under 19 squad to face belgium!
