Is 4-3-3 the way?

Thu Mar 28, 2013 4:47 pm

Surely away from home 4-3-3 would be a more attractive way of playing or at home where we're expected to win it could work very well? The team I'd have is Cowie, Whitts and Gunnar in the midfield, Noone and Kimbo on the wings and Campbell up front, surely that'd work?
Thoughts?

I think our squad is made for4-3-3

-------------------Marshall-------------------

Mcnaughton---Connolly--Bennett--Taylor

--kimbo-------gunnarsson----whittingham

Noone--------Campbell------Bellamy

Love to see what we could do after we're promoted in the last game or two :ayatollah:

Exactly, the midfield may seem exposed but I really think Cowie would be a good anchor in the midfield, giving Whittingham more of an attacking role

I would stick with 4-4-2 myself but this would be my 4-3-3.....

Marshall

Connolly
Barnett
Turner
Taylor

Gunnarson
Cowie
Whittingham

Bellamy
Campbell
Noone

If we had Maynard I would probably have chose this formation for the season with Bellamy and Campbell on either wing and Maynard upfront.

Gunnarsson

Noone
Kimbo
Bellamy

Campbell
Gestede

4-1-3-2

Whitts needs to earn his place back. Maybe a 2nd half substitution.
Kimbo can distribute and is better defensively.
