f*cking hope not, Joe was a great player for us and we'll never forget that,
But 3 years in the SPL shows, he is not good enough, and is the weak link in the Welsh team, nowhere near good enough for a team on the brink of the prem, thanks for the memories joe but you simply shouldnt have joined Celtic!

Have you watched Wales play recently? Ledley has been outstanding. I've also watched him in the Champions League and he looked decent considering he was up against some of the world's best clubs. Personally I don't think we need him but I don't see why he's not good enough for a Championship promotion challenging club.

Or is his agent putting the rumour out to try and engineer a move back?

This story seems to be gathering a bit of pace,,,,talk about "engineering" a move!

He's quality in the SPL and he was one of our best players vs Scotland and Croatia. He also coped well in a midfield consisting of Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas...
Another deluded bitter.

Because of the way he left it would be nice to resign him on a Bosman.

Its a real shame the way Joe left the club. Although 99% of footballers would do the same!
I think Joe would complement Gunnarsson Whitts Mutch & Cowie in central Mid. I'd take him back asap as I believe Malky would bring the best out of him.

Yeah, I've not really held his departure against him. It could have been handled better but who knows what was going on behind the scenes with Sleazedale and co.
I would have no grudge against him coming back. He's one player that I followed closely from his youth days along with Ramsey so would like to see him back. He is a big game player and every game in the Premiership is a big game.

£2 mill price tag and being talked about at the club
according to his uncle, who fixes my car

Why on earth would we want Ledley in our team should we get promotion this season?
There's far too many Championship journeymen in our squad as it is
I think we'll need to aim a lot higher to stay in the premier league

Championship journeyman who has over 40 caps for Wales, has vast Champions League experience and has been part of a team that defeated Barcelona in that competition. Yeah, sounds like a Championship journeyman. Or maybe we should go and sign Sven Bender instead using the spare £20 million we have floating around in the transfer kitty.

Although I'm a proud Welshman - having 40 caps for us at the moment sadly doesn't make a player world class.
We need to considerably improve the quality our squad next season and I don't feel spending money on Ledley will be the answer.

No-one has said he's world class, and no offence to the club but us bringing in 'world class' midfielders is unikely without spending 10m+ on players bigger clubs are already after.

Ledley is quality and would benefit our midfield.

Ledley is Championship / Scottish Prem class at best - 40 caps or not

Have you watched him play recently? Even for Celtic, not jut Wales?
He wouldn't set the Prem on fire no, but he'd compliment our play well. He's a hard worker, and an engine that does the dirty work in midfield.

Who are these cardiff fans that find time to watch celtic every week? Id rather watch paint dry than watch the SPL, the only decent fixture has gone and the quality of that was debatable. But Celtic seemed to hold there own in the champions league group. I dont watch ledley unless its the odd game for wales, and thats like pulling teath. So my opinion of him is just the lad that was at city. I dont know if he has moved on or not, but remembering him, is he any different to jordon henderson??? id say they are about the same. Id take joe back for a small fee or a free and see what he can do for us. hes a midfield box to box plodder in my eyes, but everyone needs a water carrier.
Id suggest though that 99.9% of us on here, have no idea how joe plays these days as we never watch him for 90mins week in week out in scotland.
thats what malky pays scouts for.

he made his bed. now he doesnt want to lie in it. has it taken joe all this time to discover he went to one of the shittish leagues in the world. and now he fancies the prem . with us,

no thanks joe , your not good enough, stay up there in the 1 team league
