Blue Seats -> Red

Wed Mar 27, 2013 9:43 pm

Everyone knew we was going to change our seats to red before long! I don't get why people are making a big fuss about it as it was always going to happen!

Re: Blue Seats -> Red

Wouldn't have happened if more of our fans had backbones in the beginning.

But what's done is done now! We just have to move on! Maybe one day in the future we will be a established premier league club, thanks to tan, and then a new owner may take over and will change us back blue I think will happen and this is why I am
Accepting the red! It's just a stepping stone!

You can accept it and move on and that's good for for. I'm jealous of you for being able to accept but because you can don't expect everyone else to.

I respect your opinion, But that's not what I am trying to get at! I just feel when the time comes to change our stadium colour, there will be more protests and what have you, which will be just be disruptive to the club!

But what do I know I am a glory fan cos I accepted the red!!!

I'm with you, can't face all this shit, just don't understand how people have accepted this so easy, what's the matter with our fans

I understand and respect your position. I just don't get how the fans could have stopped the rebrand. Money talks end of! If the 25% was the 75% would tan have walked away? Maybe we'll never know, but money men tend to get what they want. Decisions in business rarely are influenced by how people feel. The agenda was set, the pay off was success and the support will come, with or without the true fans. It's a bit like fake tits, they look good but they ain't real :lol:

Would you rather see us struggling in the league get less than 10,000 a game and playing in blue or playing in red, on the way to the prem and getting over 22,000 a game! Success comes at a cost! It's a business these days

I respect your opinion but i dont see how it would have changed anything.

Tan owns the club, he calls the shots. Regardless what some people think.

Malky got us to the top of the league - Tan actually wanted Shearwr as manager, if you remember. Thankfully, he rejected it.

Yes, I would rather see that. At least it would have been the proper CCFC stillc

Success comes at a cost? How come no other promoted side has had to change kit then? :roll:

Re: Blue Seats -> Red

Tan has no more football knowledge than the Venkys. The only difference is that he found a great young manager to lead the team. If we struggle in the premiership he won't have a clue and will soon be off blue seats or red seats. Blue will return probably sooner than you think just wait for when the team have a proper dip in fortunes.

Not to the fans it isn't - well apart from at this club that is.

Every other clubs fans seem to have a deep love for their clubs identity and would rather watch them in a stadium of 2000 in the basement than become something they are not in a stadium of 22000 in the top flight.

My nephew is a Liverpool fan and would rather die than change liverpools red to all blue and get rid of the liver bird for £100m of debt.

Remind me.
Who has bankrolled Malky to get us where we are?
