After playing for Wales on Saturday and Tuesday and we have a game this Saturday and Monday, who thinks Bellamy will play in either of the games, both of them or none ?
Only the last time Craig was here a couple of season's ago, it was said he couldn't play two games in a week, he is obviously over that but could he play four games in the space of nine days ?

Yes, he'll start both in my opinion.
No point resting him for later on, I would rather we play our strongest 11 and get the wins we need for promotion ASAP.

No. I think he'll play Blackburn and Watford though. Unless the team take Vinny's private jet to the nearest airport near Pboro, like we did with Preston etc

I think he should be rested against Peterborough, he's had two tough international games this past week, hopefully he'll come back fresh for Blackburn on Easter Monday.

I think the same, save him traveling away and give him the extra couple of days to be fully recharged at home on Monday...

Fit is the key word, he took a knock on his knee last night.

So far this season Craig has only started 22 of our 37 matches, he has come on as a sub in a further 4 and has been substituted a further 9 times. This season he has been on the pitch an average of 74 minutes.
When you compare that to a couple of seasons ago it raises some interesting questions. During season 2010/11 Craig started in 34 games, he came on as a sub in 1 and was substituted 9 times. That season he was on the pitch an average of 86 minutes.
To be involved in the same number of games this season, as he was in season 2010/11, Craig will have to feature in ALL remaining 9 matches. The question is will he be able to play in 9 matches over 36 days
Also compared to his time here a couple of seasons ago is MM doing a better job of controlling Craig fitness than DJ. That season Craig pulled a hamstring during the first leg of the playoff semi final, was that because he had been overplayed.
Personally I think MM has done a better job of looking after Craig and for that reason he is unlikely to start in ALL our remaining fixtures, starting this weekend, however unless he is injured he will be at least on the bench.

If hes fit he should start on saturday, absolutely not the time to rest players especially with hudson out,we need a leader on the pitch

Doubt he'll play Saturday but think he will start against Blackburn.

I'd prefer him to rest for this weekend. Last thing we want is an injury to him. I think we could cope without him. But he seems to have a god like figure in the team and him being ruled out for the rest of the season could have a knock on affect to the squad morale.

I think he will rested for the Peterboro game and will start for the Blackburn game.

If hes fit enough then play him, no point in giving him special treatment.

Officially Bellamy will be rested on Saturday but will be in the "squad" on Monday.
