Jordon Mutch fit and ready for promotion push

JORDON Mutch, Cardiff City’s powerful young midfield player, has put a foot problem behind him to focus on playing a full part in the chase for promotion.

He has been troubled by a niggling injury underneath a foot, but Cardiff's medical department have given Mutch the go-ahead to play on.

Waste of money by all accounts. I remember a thread that was made at the time we were linked to him which linked people to a Birmingham fan site. A lot of fans on there agreed with that fact that they were happy to see him go due to him being injury prone.

I think I've seen him have a handful of good games at the most.

I think I've seen him have a handful of good games at the most.

Rubbish....at the time Birmingham fans were gutted and thought we got him on the cheap.....and mark my words this kid will come good and maybe be a City legend.

Injury prone yes. But at this level he can be absolute quality.

ive been disappointed with jordon to be honest... doesnt offer enough off the ball and doesnt work in a 4-4-2 in my opinion.

the injury is a strange one, hes been fit for ages, but the odd foot pain he gets, i fail to see how they are going to sort it.


he should do what i do, get the bathroom sponge, cut a bit off and stick it to the inside of my boot!!

The thing that annoys me with him is whenever he starts he seems to get an early booking and Malky doesn't want to risk him for the rest of the game. Also I agree he is a long way off the form of that video. I would give him a chance off the bench in the coming games and see how he does.

Playing in the championship, and playing in the premier league, are two totally different things and experiences, I think we will see some of our players improve vastly once we start next season.

Spoke to the lad today down the Vale - keen to get back in the 1st team where I am sure, now fit, will make a very good impression, just needs the chance to show what he is capable of
