Hmmm, don't think too many said he was 'crap'

What they DID say was they didn't (a) want him back (after the way he left), and (b) that they felt he wouldn't enhance the team/squad we already have

Personally, I agree with BOTH of the above, i.e. don't want him back (for the way he left) and don't think he will bring anything new to the team that isn't already catered for

Some did say that, some also said he's not suited for the PL and only suitable for lower Championship teams which is total nonsense.

He'd be excellent in our midfield. A midfield 3 of Ledley, Whitts and Gunnarson would be quality.

The problem is only by him playing in the Prem will answer the question and he had a chance to do that with Pulis but he turned them down for the 'lure' of The Old Firm (or their money at least) so we don't really know at the moment

I just feel that he simply isn't anything special and that he let his 'hometown' club down in the way he went

I have similar disgust at Gunter for the way he 'run Cardiff City down in his interview and then over celebrated his new team's success in front of the fans who once cheered him

He didn't really do much wrong about how he left.
He joined Celtic, a club with European prospects after he wasn't offered a new contract.
