Tue Mar 26, 2013 6:38 pm

Been freezing over there for days, some snow and no sign of a let up. Doubt they have got undersoil so I hope pitch is well covered and ok for Sat.

They say snow is the best protection against a frozen pitch. The roads/walkways around the ground will be the problem I imagine.

I returned yesterday from Stamford, which is 13 miles from Peterborough. The temperature during the day was -1C ! The forecast for the rest of the week is for similar temperatures. Lets hope Peterborough have undersoil heating or they've covered their pitch.

I'll be gutted if it's called off. I've been looking forward to this game for weeks, so I hope they've spent more than 50p on the pitch, so that they can get it on.

I agree.

Games are coming thick and fast and the international break doesn't help.

Was forecasted snow here today. Nothing fell so can't see why the game would be cancelled.
