Been told he is not getting a new contract next season and can go out on loan now ....worth snapping up to help with the run in?
He sounds a bit shellshocked also he has just said on talksport apparently he is not entitled to a testimonial as his contract runs out 5 days short.... a bit naughty by Bolton seeing the time he has been there?

would work well with the youngsters like mason and gestede aswell very clever player and underrated

Sign him up.
At least that would mean he wouldn't be able to play against us in a few weeks time!
On a similar note, I'm sure that the only reason Jones signed The Beast was because of the number of goals he'd scored against us.

At his best yes but a shadow of his former self apparently.

I do not want him to join us as I believe it's a few years too late. We need to sign players that cab do a job in the premiership and I am not sure he can. He is a true professional who has been superb for Bolton over the years, the way they have treated him is disgusting. I hope we do not shaft super Kev like that, I understand the need to move players on but look how the Jacks have kept Monk and Tait. Both of them f*cking wankers mind you.

Always liked him but haven't heard a sound off him in this league?
We got Campbell, Maynard, Mason, Gestede for strikers.
Gestede will prove a impact.

That takes the cake: Bolton tell Kevin Davies he can leave.. on his birthday

Trotters' captain has served the club for a decade but could be freed by new manager Freedman before the end of the season
Kevin Davies is heading for the exit at Bolton after 10 years at the club – but he will be offered a testimonial.
Bolton boss Dougie Freedman gave his captain the bad news on Tuesday – Davies’ 35th birthday.
The England striker – a target for the Trotters' Championship rivals Sheffield Wednesday and Wolves – may even leave before the end of the season if a deal can be sorted out.
Davies was upset by the news, ending a decade of outstanding displays for the club, and he also feared it meant he would not get the chance of a testimonial game.
He said: “I’ve been told I’m not entitled to a testimonial. It would have been nice to have one as a thank you for what I’ve done.”
But Mirror Sport can reveal that Wanderers are prepared to give Davies a benefit match at the Reebok – despite rules that say he has to have served for longer than a decade at the club.
Bolton staged a match for John McGinlay, although he fell short of 10 years, and a source said: “Kevin just has to ask.”

I like him but I think he can be a hit and miss so No, shame about his Testimonial though he has been a good servant for them
