Away Friendly Pub For Peterborough.

For any of you travelling down on Saturday for the game and looking for a away friendly family pub then head to The Golden Lion, situated in Stanground its a 5 minute walk to the Ground and offers FREE car parking to anyone who wishes to park up have a drink and then leave the car there whilst st the game.

Its also child friendly, has a pool table and Sky Sports being shown on a large screen and a normal tv, rolls are served from behind the Bar and there is a award winning Chippy across the road and you are welcome to eat them inside the pub.

The post code for Sat Nav is PE2 8HE , It is literally a 5 minute walk from the away turnstiles, looks further on the map but is a path / cycleway that takes you directly to the ground.

Georgina the landlady will take good care of anyone visiting but will need some notice if any of you are planning on coming along and fancy fresh rolls .

Don't be fooled people. Brett Palmer is talking bollocks. The Golden Lion is a shit hole. The regulars there don't even like strangers from posh going there never mind a few hundred city fans. Be warned one of the roughest pubs in Peterborough. FACT.
