After the defeat of the scots anyone like to see the old home international tournament come back. Any memories?
I remember as a kid on the grange end with my older brother when gerry francis ( fowling fat tw*t) pushed bryan flynn off the ball when england beat us.
My best memory was at a packed ninian park on the grange before a scotland game and my brother put my on his shoulders under a massive john toshack banner, i think it said "king john of toshack" and later that night seeing myself under the banner on match of the day, barry davis commentating. I was well chuffed.
I think we stuffed em 4-1 and toshack scored a hatrick. Marking him that day was up and coming liverpool star alan hansen. Great days.

They did in in 2011 in Dublin. Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales were in it.
The 2013 tournament was supposed to be in Cardiff but they stopped it because of bad attendance in 2011. There were only something like 300 fans there fore N.Ireland vs Wales

I would like to see it become a regular thing though. Like this summer, the only football on is the confederations cup, with ain't exactly a big deal. I'd happily get down the CCS or MillStad to watch a few matches, surely they could offer cheap prices or some kind of season ticket to boost attendances??

Ain't they doing it next year?

They did bring them back but it was so pathetically attended that they have scrapped it. The ratings on sky were awful as well so I doubt they will show any interest in showing it again. Without England the fans can't be bothered to turn up which is a shame. The last two times Wales have sold out the Mill stad was against England.
People aren't interested in supporting the national team in this country compared to the other home nations.
