If we manage to beet Croatia in our next game, does any one think theres any hope of us catching the top 2 and qualifying?
Extremely optimistic i know but i'm just curious of peoples thoughts...
Personally I think its a impossible task but the performance we put in last night is leaps ahead of anything under Coleman so far this campaign, even tops the Scotland defeat at CCS in my opinion. A huge step in the right direction.

We're only 7 points behind them, they have to play Belgium & Scotland.

If Scotland can get a draw and we beat them and so do Belgium, it's wide open for us.

Third place will do us IMO,collect some ranking points and get an easier draw for the euros

I'd say we haven't got much hope but should we pull off an unlikely result on Tuesday off course we can get second place. Qualification is tough for World cups with less numbers available but third place would be a fantastic success. However all our six points have come against a weak Scottish sides, as great a results these have been we have floundered against others in this group.

All depends how well we do against our two games against Macedonia.

Almost as silly as when England win they think they are world beaters.

If we win Tuesday we'll be four points behind with twelve still to play for? Not over till its over I suppose. Definatly got improved optimism since Fridays result.

the way we played Friday without Bale, was superb!

talking to some scottish fans after the game in the pub, they said that we got a chance in qualifying!

we are unlikely to win on tuesday to be fair, but if we do win the gaps down to 4 points.


we need 4 wins out of 4 then, with the tricky one being belgium away.


Bottom line, its not going to happen, and the best we can hope for is 3rd (which would be a good result)
