Awesome result tonight and pleased for Coleman.

Coleman has had a lot of stick on here, too much methinks, I know Scotland are awful  but to come back in freeZing conditions after losing your best player and going behind I thought it was awesome. We were due against them lot. Jon Williams a great Wales debut :malky:

How anyone can be pleased for Coleman is beyond me. He is a welsh man, yet referred to an English player during an England international as the best player "we" have. English wannabe.

Wales winger Gareth Bale has played down fears about his fitness after he was forced off at half-time during the 2-1 win over Scotland.

The Tottenham star, who had been suffering from a virus prior to the match, failed to emerge for the second half at Hampden Park with Jonathan Williams replacing him as Wales shrugged off his absence to fight back from 1-0 down in the World Cup qualifying Group A clash.

There were initially fears that Bale had injured his ankle and would miss Tuesday's visit of Croatia.

However, the 23-year-old took to Twitter after the game to allay those fears.

He posted: "Just clearing the air... nothing wrong with my ankle. I came off at HT due to the stomach virus I've had all week. Should be ok for Tuesday.

"Great win by the lads tonight, hopefully we can take this on to the next game."

Funny I thought Ramsey was averagely shit.....slowing the attack down and losing possession to much.

Let's not get too excited. We have beaten the worst team in the league twice. I will think we might be turning the corner if we beat Croatia next Tuesday.

I dont think a loss against croatia is unexpected. croatia are a good team with a full starting 11. So cant blame coleman for a loss against them. just got to beat the teams we should be beating and competing against those better.

Dont think Coleman is doing such a bad job though. Id prefer a better number 2 than fat head but what does a number 2 at international level apart from put down some cones and be a yes man?

We were the bottom seeds, they are ranked higher than us and spanked Speeds Wales 3-1 not so long ago.

Why the hell are you expecting to beat a team like Croatia

That's like saying Cardiff would have turned a corner if they beat Arsenal

Wales have won 3 out of 4 all against higher ranked opponents.

We beat the worst team in the group. Can't get overly excited.

As for Coleman he is an awful manager-not because he is a jack. His record speaks for itself.

His record is exactly the same as speeds and we are ranked below Scotland and were seeded 6th in our group of 6.

colemans managerial record is not even as bad as people like to think, only job he really struggled with was at Coventry and they was on the down hill even before he got there
