Exactly, he's gone for names over quality, personally I feel Cowie is really underrated, he does the dirty work in the middle and really frees up space for the attacking players

Scottish fans/players targeted Bale or coming with little affect. Bale was marked out of the game from the first minute and it helped us as it created space. Bellamy was superb in my opinion as was Joe Ledley, one thing I noticed was the back four continually trying to play the Jack style of playing the ball out. Great on the eye but doesn't work when the rest of the team do not play with that philosophy.
