MY THOUSAND POST

When I first joined this message board we had reached the playoffs for the first time. Wembley was a distant dream and only reserved for Premier teams. Dave Jones had been interviewed for the job and all our good players were sold or moved on.

From that time we have been to the FA and Carling Cup finals holding our heads high in both finals and to be honest should have possibly won the Carling Cup but due to a glaring miss and poor penatly kicks we didn't. DJ was sacked and our new Messiah MM was brought to the club to take us to the Premiership Peter Ridsdale left the club andTG took a place on the board.

He loved the club and brought in fresh investment with Mr.Tan taking control. Unfortunately his plans have upset fans with the red v blue argument and what has been a fantastic season has been stained by in fighting amounst us. I started following this club when Danny Malloy was captain so my love for this club has lasted for over 50 years.

We are now within touching distance of the dream so please for the last 8 or so games lets get 100% behind Malkey and the team and cheer them to promotion. It goes to show what we can do when we sell out a long distance trip to Watford with the game being shown live. I will be driving up to Peterborough so if anyone knows me keep me a pie will you.
