if only the money allowed you could build a new team :)

hasn't Owen announced his retirement so we even if we wanted him we couldn't. I'd put offers in for a few of those defenders though

Carlton Cole and O'neil at West Ham, Fortune at West Brom.

Fat Frank at Chelski a no goer, too chubby for Malky

If we went for Danny Simpson we'd have Tulisa as a celebrity fan!!

Chris Brunt, Shotton and Simpson are the more realistic ones.

None of them.

Phil Neville for a season, a player who has played all his career at the highest level and would bring vast experience.
The only other one I'd fancy is Hangeland.
Forget the likes of Lampard, Arshavin and Ferdinand they would all want too much money for what they would bring to the club

To be honest out of those players, realistic ones that i would have, would be:

Arshavin
Hangeland/Dunne
Malouda.

Obviously these players would have to drop their wage bills dramatically, but if they want first team football then that's what their going to have to do.

I've only said Malouda because he has stated he wants to move at the end of the season and feels downhearted at the fact that no club came in for him either during last summer or this January. He is a decent player that would do a decent enough job for us.

Hangeland would be one hell of a coup for us if we went for him. Not sure he'd be willing to sign for us. I think the only reason he hasn't renewed his contract yet is because he's looking for a move to a bigger club. Brunt would be quality as well mind. Simpson too but would his off-field antics put Malky off him?

I'd more then happily welcome a few of them to the club, I think the big stumbling block for them will be wages.

Rio Ferdinand pleaseeeeeeeee

There are some unrealistic and impossible ones, but most of them would walk into our team, whether it be starting XI or bench.

Chris Baird (Fulham) - Solid full back.
Danny Simpson (Newcastle United) - Been in the PL a lot and a lot of experience.
Matthew Kilgallon (Sunderland) - Definitely worth a punt as a squad player
Chris Brunt (West Bromwich Albion) - He's likely to re sign but would love to see at City
Maynor Figueroa (Wigan Atheltic) - Dependable full back.

That's about all I'd want to approach from that list.
