THE LEAGUE MUST START ACTING NOW.
BLACKBURN SACK APPLETON.
BLACKBURN HAVE HAD MORE MANAGERS THIS SEASON THAN MANCHESTER UNITED HAVE HAD IN THE LAST 30+ YEARS.
The League should start punishing clubs for unnecessary removal of staff.

As crazy as it is, its got nothing to do with the league.....or anyone else. He has a win % of 27, which is poor. Hes not performing.....therefore loses his job. Same as any other job.

Its got f**k all to do with us.
We must stop Blackburn sacking their managers but hardly anyone bats an eyelid at some crazy man turning us into a Malyasian shrine.

So true.

Blackburn have once again sacked their manager, Southampton sack Nigel Adkins after two back to back promotions, and Reading sack Brian McDermott with 10 games to go.
If you think it's not affecting the game then your seriously mistaken.
It also has got f**k all to do with the rebrand Mario so why mention it?

Are you happy at being top of the league?
Are you happy at having some of the best players weve ever had at our club?
Are you happy at a millionaire willing to fund us season after season?
Are you happy that our pitch is in the best condition it's ever been in because of the very expensive equipment that is being financed and used?
I won't ask if your happy at the fact that we no longer play in blue, because no one is happy. No one at the club wanted it.
But it has happened.
Bitching and crying on a forum and making every thread a rebrand debate ain't gonna change it.

Thought this thread was about Blackburn

And people moan about our owners! At least they seem to be trying to run the club on a sound business footing and have improved the team. The Venky's at Blackburn appear to be totally out of their depth.
I bet They would exchange playing in blue to be back in the Premier League!

I really fear for Malky in the Prem.
We've seen it so much, Foreign owners quickly Dissmissing Capable managers because they don't adjust instantly to premier league football.
I hope I'm wrong as I believe Malky has a great future in the game.

The main danger with Malky is losing him to another club. I said rather jokingly last year that he would succeed Fergie at Man Utd. Then I thought "Is that so far fetched?" and started looking for prices with the bookies!

200/1 on Skybet, by the way!

Noticed Mario and co don't have a response to my points then!!
Surprised? I'm not.

Thats cos I am doing some important work and dont have the time to answer a million questions.
After work, thats if you can wait and havent jumped in your car and on your way to Blackburn to protest
Tue Mar 19, 2013 2:25 pm
I just hope we can all support Malky and the team next season no matter what.
When we play the likes of United, City, Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal etc. we're going to be losing 2,3,4-0. We have to accept that.. But I'm not sure some fans will.

Bitching and crying about Blackburns managers getting the sack isnt going to change that either

Well you clearly missed the whole point of the post if you think I've raised concerns purely based on just Appletons sacking.
Can't talk as I'm apparently en route to Ewood park

How long was Appleton with Blackpool before he jumped ship to Blackburn? Did he even reach a month? There is no loyalty in football and the Venky's have done to Appleton what Appleton did to Blackpool. Appleton can't complain, it's kharma and he's no doubt had a hefty pay off, I don't feel sorry for him one bit.

Precisely. Whilst I have sympathy with Adkins I certainly have no sympathy for Appleton.
Managers get paid well but they know its a results based business.
Im more concerned with the circus my club has become than worrying about some proffesionals who earn more in a week than I do in a year.
Let the LMA sort it out. Why "WE HAVE TO STOP THIS" I dont know.
Tue Mar 19, 2013 5:30 pm
Fuckin hate Blackburn!
I wish they could be relegated!

-1 with a slight westerly breeze and a wind chill factor of -7.
Occasional showers of shite with sunny spells in between.

Appleton sacked by Blackburn after just two months in charge as Rovers look for their FOURTH manager of the season

Polo was right to mention it because managers being sacked frequently is just another aspect of modern football, the same as rebranding, over advertisement and so on. The list is massive.
People are against managers being sacked because its not us. The same people are for the rebrand because they think it will favour us. Its a complete bias. If Malky's win record was 30% the season after Dave Jones was gone you'd want him out. Heck there are even idiots who have called for his head during times we've been top.
If our managers were losing loads of games I'd want them sacked before we ended up in the depths of the lower leagues as well. I can understand if you criticise the sacking of someone like Di Matteo who had a good record but when someone is not performing anywhere near the level they should be then surely its understandable.

I don't see why the Football League should take action, it's the club's decision at the end of the day, whether it's unnecessary or not doesn't matter.

Rafa's Rovers? Blackburn eye Chelsea's Benitez as their next manager after sacking Michael Appleton

The "We Must Stop This" rant was aimed at the Football world in general not "US" in general.
Adkins and Robbie Di Matteo along with Brian McD in my opinion didn't deserve to be treated the way they have been treated.
Blackburn for instance sacked Steve Kean despite several times making statements stating he was in for the long run.
Relegation and a publicity stunt that humiliated Steve by his/clubs owners and he still stayed to try and finish his job.
They sacked him. Blackburn were a top 6 side.Where are they now?
My rant was designed behind a wanting of better controls and rules by the FA and governing bodies to protect clubs and managers. It's not healthy to see managers dropping like flies on a weekly basis. The game needs better vetting of owners and stricter sanctions and stipulations of staff control. The LMA needs more control/power to punish clubs who sack managers simply because a better/more high profile manager is available.
It highlights a unhealthy state of the game and the so called governing body should be looking at ways to sort this mess out.
I do not think this is the only problem in football but it is a problem none the less.
As for and Rebrand comments that come my way, my answer has already been posted above;
"The game needs better vetting of owners".

Steve Kean wasnt sacked. He resigned.
