Former Cardiff Player Stevie Thompson who was part of the Cardiff squad that got to the FA cup final, has won the Scottish league cup today with St Mirren. Thompson a paisley born St Mirren fan has came home to finish his career and has just fittingly won the cup.

They Beat Hearts 3-2 in a thrilling if not technically enhanced game at hampden.

Yes i'm glad for him, i was there when he made his debut for us, we beat burnley at home 2-0 and thomo got the both goals.
