BLACKBURN

Sun Mar 17, 2013 11:09 am

Not long ago we were all wondering if they were the team that was going to be that team that does the last minute surge. They were just outside the play offs thanks to a good run. Now they are 3 points off a relegation place.

They do have 2 games in hand but with their present form who would bet they will pick up any points from those games. Unbelieveable to think that we could be putting a team in the relegation zone that were in the premier 12 months ago.

Crazy league.

Yes I know but they have been down there most of the season.

With Blackburn they looked like they had sorted it out, look like they were going to pinch a play off place then all of a sudden find themselves close to a relegation place.

Massive injury problems in the last few weeks .. today for example

Blackburn striker DJ Campbell is out with an ankle injury, as are Josh King and Markus Olsson (both hamstring).

Bradley Orr (ribs), Adam Henley (hamstring), Dickson Etuhu (knee), Colin Kazim-Richards and midfielder Lee Williamson (both ankle) are all out and David Bentley has a knee injury

That does go a long way to explaining it.

Infact that makes it even worse for them as there is a better chance turning things around if your main players are fit.

I fear for Millwall as they have a cup run to contend with.

After this game they have 9 left that includes coming to us and Watford plus a home match against Palace.

Adding to that they have relegation fixtures against Sheff Wed and Millwall.

Unbelievable if they go down with Wolves.
