Davey Jones, he shags who he wants.
That was one of our better chants today.

Are you f*cking serious, totally wrong. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Why? It's funny... His own fault for having an affair!
The peado/Savile stuff is shameful though.

Well aware of that.
Tell me again, why is it pathetic to sing a funny song about an ex manager who is very bitter about the club?

I think you've missed the point.....the song was about his recent affair and nothing to do with the false accusations against him years ago.

To close to the bone for my liking but then adding that's just my opinion.

Wrong or right, it is football, a chant. it should be taken as that.
Any player or manager who cannot take it should not be there, because it will never go away.

Shut up. Jones made many sly comments about us whilst he was in charge here.

Nothing wrong with this chant. In fact it could be classed as a compliment. Jimmy Sav etc chants are another thing

That's funny to be fair, his own fault.

I agree with Barry Chuckle. The 'affair' stuff has to be fair game but the 'other' stuff was disgraceful

Nothing wrong with the affair stuff, that is classed as Banter.

Jesus everyone's gone right soft IMO. Football chants are supposed to be offensive !!
Sun Mar 17, 2013 10:30 pm
I really dont know what has gone on down the City. Next we will all meet up before a game to discuss what to chant, just in case we upset someone somewhere.
Fans wanting to sing rugby songs and shit, when did City fans become so womanly.

No, Steve, they are not
There is a limit even to football 'banter' where it becomes purely offensive
How would
we like it if they started bringing
disability into it?
I don't expect an answer. You usually avoid the trickier questions, I've noticed

Hiya Chief.TBF if its funny why not ? My Mrs is always making jokes about her disabilitys and so do i sometimes. When a comedian joked about GB having the best para olympians because of the armys involvement in Afghanistan there was uproar. But the truth was these soldiers were pissing themselves. Yes i have a very warped sense of humour Chief and that is just me. The time i change is when comments are meaningfull and not meant as a joke.
