Judging by the songs they were singing I would guess it was the Bi-annual 'Jacks' Day Out :?

Those pesky rugby fans sang 'Hymns and Arias' like they owned it when we all know (thanks to Waddle, Jacktastic and Swansealad69) that it is actually a West Walian Courting Song ;) :ayatollah:

It's been said a million times before, but the national sport of Wales is not rugby, it's getting pissed. A large amount in the stadium today will have had no real idea about the rules of rugby, other than you have to score tries and kick for goal. many are only there for a day out in the capital.
If you walked through town tonight and stopped 100 people and asked them to name the staring 15 today, I reckon most of them would struggle.

Because rugby is more about the atmosphere rather than the game. There are many patriots, but more people there just because it's a good day out.

It is still the national sport though. It's like saying why is it Cardiff struggle to sell out their games yet they can take thousands of extra glory hunters to Wembley.

Rugby is just a sport where the national side is supported more than the clubs.

If Swansea and Cardiff were in the Welsh league they would struggle to fill 10k, fact.

Ask again why is it that Cardiff can get 23/24,000 a game But Wales Football get only half of that some times.

That's easy... success.

Don't forget, it wasn't long agothat we were getting less than 10k. The correlation is that we were also crap.

Ok fine , but for them who like it dont keep going on about it all the time. I know loads of people who hate football, but they dont bang on about it all the time . Live & let live.

Used to go every game in the old East Terrace, loads of songs then, now its a day out for the plastics but still a superb atmosphere. Typical of the negativity on here though, Wales just shoved it right up the saes but you've got to slag them off because their not city. Whilst i'm not sure of the crowd most of them are there to see if they can get themselves on telly or text their mates from the stadium it's stilla top day out. whenever i've been i've always felt totally safe up for the crack and christ i've been in some states. But watching City i'm always on edge can't get hammered could be because of the extra cops but often it's because of city fans telling me i'm a wanker cos i don't go to watch every game!!

1. They are allowed to drink.
2. They can stand, act like animals, no rules for the lovely law abiding rugby fans. (sarcasm)
3. Cardiff is like a holiday for most of Wales. It has buildings over 6ft and hardly a sheep in sight.
4. Welsh people by majority are stupid i.e. as long as Wales beat England winning the 6 nations don't matter.
5. Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel.
6. There is media bias towards the sport which gets the sheepish nation pumped up for it.

Because they are all part time supporters, as the Blues fans proved by turning their backs on them when they shared our stadium :malky: :malky:

If Wales was to play every other week against say the fairo islands, san marino then they'd have near on emtry staduim all the time but as they only play the 6 nations they fill the stadium as it's internationals and top players on show Just like when you reach the prem. You'll fill your stadium every other week just like most teams would apart from us as we fill ours regardless. 28,499 today.

Look at thugby at none international level, the support is shit.
