The motif of the English Prince is on the Welsh shirts though - how do you feel about that?

o read about it Since a key factor in the English army's victory at Crécy was the use of Welsh archers, but i dont look upon the 3 feather as Welsh .

It derives from the Prince of Wales heraldic badge. Legend has it that at the battle of Crecy Edward the Black Prince took the ostrich lined helmet off the dead King of Bohemia whom he admired and adopted his motto. Welsh archers had contributed greatly to the victory

Interested why when CCFC have cemented their lead at the top you feel the need to shout about the 2nd sport in Wales

Hardly answers the question why spout of about the rugby and not mention CCFC leading the table

The three feathers is the worst tattoo any Welshmen can get and loads have it it merely confirms you allegiance to the prince of Wales imposed on us by edward the 2nd and to rub salt into the wounds ich dien is german for i serve. Never happy about that being on any Welsh shirt but i'm chuffed to f'ing bits about Wales smashing the saes and stopping them getting a grand slam!!

I know that WCD - But there were some patriotic Welshmen who fought on the French side in the 100 years war against the foe that had imposed their own prince upon us and that symbol is the very symbol of the English Prince.
I'm not unduly patriotic, but that's one symbol too far for me to support the team who wear it.

Would never bare the three feathers of the english prince. But great win for wales and record number of points against them. I only care that the Welsh do well regardless of what sport it is
