" TODAY IS THE TURNING POINT "

" There is now no stopping us, we will go up now without a doubt " :ayatollah:
Once again Malky has shone he does not do long bad runs, just small or minute ones. :malky:

Back to winning ways today and it feels great. :D

1,400 BLUEBIRDS supporting the team did not stop singing today :ayatollah:

With Watford and Hull both losing today couldn't get much better. :malky:

We are 9 points clear of Watford in third and they have just 24 points to play for and they play Hull next.

This City team is going up. :D

Again it weren't a vintage City performance but it us all about the results at this stage. Barnett had a decent debut which was pleasing.

Still a way to go yet and Peterborough are a bogey team for us but we should enjoy a great day today...I have been worried to be honest especially losing captain Hudson but. Clean sheet away from home is a massive confidence boost ....I am too old and battered with disappointments when close to the finish to count any chickens yet...but hey....feck it lets enjoy the next two weeks top of the league and players having a rest and chance to recover from injuries before we go into April the month that will decide our destiny

Corky, I agree we have some tough games ahead, but for Malky to fail now, he would of had to of ended up in a mental home  :ayatollah: :malky:

What a day everything going right for us --and yes we are going up bar a disaster

if we only win another three and lose the rest Watford would have to win 6 out of their 8 games and they have us and Hull to play

the threat is now going come from palace not watford, i think they have blown .3 more wins should do it for us and second will probably do it with 82 or 83 points and to think we missed out a couple of seasons ago on 84 with a worst goal difference

I hope Malky has prepared a pile of PL dossiers. Reading aren't doing well on a 10m spend and Southampton are having to fight hard after spending 30m.

Which year was that? I didn't think we'd got as high as 84 points since we've been in the Championship?

Correct we have not won 84 pts in a season since our return to the Championship, our best points total has been 80 when we lost out on 3rd place to the Jacks on goal difference.

Hull City lost at home to Nottingham Forest, while Watford fell at Barnsley.

Cardiff's stuttering form had sparked suggestion that the leaders were losing their nerve as the race for the title and Premier League promotion reached its climax.

Mackay, though, stressed there had never been any semblance of panic or nerves among his players.

He said: "They've always been calm in the training ground.

"Anyone who visits that place will see the calmness at the training ground and the focus we've got on the next team we play against.

"It comes from working with good professionals and that's what I'm working with."
