Would love them to do a Reading and finish 2nd. With their form, it could very well happen. Only 3 games in it now I think and they only have to play us out of the top teams. The other teams have to play each other.

Hull have to play us, Watford and Boro as well as Wolves away who are a tough game.

Watford have a very tough run in as well. I think Palace or Forest will grab 2nd.

After Billy Davies got sacked I think they're support went downhill a little bit. If they got back in the Premier League they would easily get 30,000+

Cracking support...been thinking lately about our away support when we had promotion season with eddie may im sure we were taking more away and we are now and tha was division 4.peole saying the rebrand hasn't hurt attendences etc I might be wrong but if none of this bolax rebrand happened we would be taking some serious numbers away...I find it hard to watch us in red but I do but not as much anymore I can take it or leave it no problem, but the premier league is not the be all or end all of football...

what you gotta remember is that nottingham is in the middle of the country so most grounds are within 2-3 hours drive,it's like city playing away in reading every week, and we all know how many we take there as it's easy to get to

Great support but its only up the road. Went to Sheffield on the train via Stockport yesterday and couldnt believe how easy it is to get around the midlands/Yorkshire on the train.

Exactly. Try going to Hull by train and getting back the same day.

Did the journey myself when I lived up that way - and its not much more than Cardiff to Swindon, and all motorway.

Meanwhile we had a journey which by the time you added in the RV stuff etc.. was over 4 hours.

Good luck to them, they are a bigger club than us as the moment, but its not that big a deal.

The distances we have to travel are reflected in the fact that hardly anyone brings more to us than we do to them - Forest included - I can't remember one season since we got back in the Champ where they have brought more to us than we have taken there.

The only ones who put us to shame are Leeds (biggest club in the division) and Ipswich, both of whom have smaller home gates.
