Told to sit down

Did anyone just hear the guy on loud speaker at goodison park telling all man cty fans that they must sit out or they will be ejected from the ground!!! Not just our club that forces people to sit down

Mersyside is very anti-standing due to Hillsborough so they are very vocal about it

I understand their issue and why they hold their view. But safe standing is not terracing, and terracing is what they should be against.

Thats true slipped my mind about hillsborough. Like you said though safe standing needs to be looked at because most fans like to stand so why not try to accomodate people who want to stand and make it as safe as possible

A lot of the Northern teams are so OTT with standing up. Sunderland, Man. United, Leeds, Liverpool, Everton.

There was an announcement at Anfield to the Swans supporters last season, telling us all to sit down in the same way but we ignored it and they left us alone in the end. On the kop, the stewarding is very strict to any sort of standing and there's a lot of stewards running up and down isles telling people to sit down. They are anti-standing due to Hillsborough, even though standing wasn't the reason for the disaster.

they do this at every home game, it was same for wigan game last week,
