Farewell Cardiff City FC.

Sat Mar 16, 2013 11:35 am

I am the 25% that Tan does not give a f**k about. Which is the 25% who were there in the depths of league 2. And will still be here when he fucks off. When this all goes tits up, we would be the 25% still standing when the other 75% f**k off with him. Your all a bunch of, and you've brought me to hate the club I've loved since the age of four.

Notice why the atmosphere is constantly pathetic? Why that we're in a promotion push and nobody seems to care or really get behind the team? and why we dont sell out all every game?

Imagine this rebrand hadn't happened, and we were still the blubirds. Can you imagine what the stadium would be like on match day if we were in this position? Don't give me all that shit "the rebrand got us in this position" Don't try and justify that if we were playing in blue it would have made a difference.

I'm sick of all the pussy footing around each other with "I respect your opinions". It's all an absolute load of bollocks. I hate everything red, and all who sit there and continue watch and enjoy our club turn into something that apparently "nobody would stand for" when word first got out.

My renewal form is going in the bin. I hope you all enjoy your dream of premiership football. Obviously seeing big names come to Cardiff means more to you than going to a game & treating it as a day out and a laugh at a place where you knew everyone, when Cardiff City was more of a family. Not the pathetic laughing stock of english football with a divide amongst our own fans.

I'm sure I wont be missed, and my seat will be snapped up within minutes by another pro red sell out. But I walk away with my dignity intact. I will indeed be joining the new AFC bluebirds, and when the time comes enjoy a day out at the football like I used to.

Good luck with your promotion push Cardiff. I hope it goes massively wrong, and all you sell outs see the mistake you have made.

I'm fully behind the rebrand, but I'd still be here if we got relegated to League 2 as well (I going when we were last there).

It really is getting tedious now and I believe affecting the players. Have your tantrums and marches at the end of the season once the promotion is guaranteed - I don't want the name changed or the bluebird gone - the colour is acceptable up to a point.

Why so many have to seek a derailment to this years excellent season is beyond me.

Think its not affecting the players, wait until the season is over and if promotion is not reached - then there will be problems!

This is exactly my point. All you care about is promotion, and your willing to sell your identity as a club, and be the laughing stock of football to do it. Along with the other 25%.. I'd rather be in league 2 and play in blue, and be the club that we used to be.

Been there and done that since 1980, home, away, abroad in the cup winners cup.

Why is it wrong for me to want promotion to the premiership for Cardiff City as is - at present - right now. What is wrong with trying to deal with this issue outside of this season - NOTHING - too many wanting their own toys back in their pram and looking for their 5 minutes on bbc trash wales and the eggo.

I'm not against trying to keep us CCFC and with a bluebird, but there is a time and place for everything - and it's not now1

As for AFC Cardiff or AFC Bluebirds or AFC Whatever from south wales, good luck to them, they'll be something else to look out for when city are playing.

TBH If the forums upset the players they shouldn't be looking at them.

It's not the forums, the blue brigade are seeking maximum publicity across all forms of communications, they want tv and radio coverage for the march and the tabloids available. Now don't tell me you think players shouldn't watch or read media outlets?

Forums are for fans, but the media is very powerful - you know how gentle and touchy footballers are earning thousands a week!!!!

Got to agree with Blue Dredd he won't be missed as long as there is success but the moment all the newbie red flag wavers witness bad times they will be gone and many loyal fans like himself won't be there to hold it together. The long term vision is flawed in my opinion and those 25% will be needed one day and everyone who shot them down will wish they hadn't.

If disgruntled fans and media coverage upset you as one of my players you would be shipped out pretty sharpish as you obviously wouldn't be cut out for the job.

Because, you should respect other fans opinions Craig and his feelings, NO NEED TO ABUSE THEM.
Say yours without insults or just ignore their posts, Its killing some fans and they use forums etc to say how they feel. Respect others please Craig, if u want respect back.

im sorry but I live and work in England and if you really think that our change of badge/strip is of any interest you are mistaken, Everyone is laughing at us? only because a minority of attention seekers can't get over the changes or themselves! Last time i will respond to a rebrand moan as it only panders to the proponents of negativity.

This is why I hate Tan.

Not the fact that he has turned us (or attempted to) into a marketing comodity, but the fact the way he has done it has turned us against each other.

I will always follow Cardiff.
I will always respect a fans who follow the club.(new or old breed)
I will not respect a fan who calls his fellow fans names or belittles them because he or she thinks they're in the right to.

We all have opinions, none will back down.
We all reserve the right to agree to disagree.

Last Tuesday I was in the Ninian and in the lounge was Annis Premier1 TenerifeBlue CityOne and few others.
Whilst in the bar was my old man and his mate Ben.
One Side fully supported Cardiff City but couldn't Accept the Rebrand.
Other side accepted the rebrand. Both different ends if the spectrum but both with the same desire and passion.

I personally would never wear red. But I would not abuse someone who did.
THAT IS MY CHOICE. Not everyone is the same.

The quicker some realise that then maybe more middle ground may be found.

All I care about is Cardiff City.

I'm sorry but I lived and worked in England for years and many of my English friends asked (in their words) WTF is going on at your club, surely your lot won't stand for that. No, we sat down quietly for it and when some have the nerve to make their feelings known they are called selfish and childish.

How childish of me to want my club to play it's home games in the colours they played at home in for over 100 years. I'm sure it would be equally childish of New Zealanders to be up in arms if they were suddenly told they were to switch to yellow. Fact is, that would NEVER happen.

Keep waving the red scarf, you might get a free season-ticket/refund, (just think, the chance to watch Manchester Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea etc for nothing).

its a sad state to see us all like this and fans leaving the club after many many years arguing and bickering with each other.

I understand why people walk away and why people stay but this situation at ccfc we find ourselves in is terrible and it goes on and on.

IT Has to end somewhere but where ?I dont no.

Re: Farewell Cardiff City FC.

Sat Mar 16, 2013 2:17 pm

It's nonsense that some people think its just new fans accepting red to chase the red dream.
From what I've seen it's either very very young children with red scarfs or older guys ie 70-ish.
People can do what they want, if doesn't effect me if people go or not. I've not argued with anyone of the rebranding I just make my own decision and let others do the same.

Everyone needs to accept that everyone thinks different and stop trying to change each others minds. Easier said than done.

Its only on MB's though.
