Etien Velikonja: 13 goals so far.

SLOVENIAN striker Etien Velikonja has taken his Bluebirds goals tally for the season to 13 – and again underlined his potential.
Velikonja, who is training in the first-team squad on a daily basis, has made only two Championship appearances for the Bluebirds, but has been a regular in their Development League team and that’s where his goals have been scored.

The 24-year-old netted goal number 13 in Cardiff’s 2-1 win against Millwall away with full-back Luke Coulson also on target.
Stephen McPhail, Filip Kiss, Kadeem Harris and Joe Ralls all completed 90 minutes for City.

City’s line-up also included Rhys Healey, their 18-year-old striker signed from Welsh Premier Connah’s Quay.

The next match for City’s development team is at Colchester United next Monday afternoon, while Ipswich Town come to Cardiff City Stadium a week later, on Monday, March 25.

That match is scheduled for a 7pm kick-off, but could be brought forward to 1pm.

I don't understand why we paid that amount of money for him if he isn't going to get a say at all. He should of at least been given a chance to start a couple of games!

Send him out on loan for the rest of the season? That gives him chance to prove himself to Malky?

I rate him higher than Mason. It's time to give Velikonja a run, especially when we don't have constant goalscorers up top.

I cant understand why he hasn't been on the bench , i think he would do well for us if given a chance
