They've got 3,500 fans travelling to Hull this Saturday and thyve never been in the Top 2 All season, in fact theyve have not done that well. Also they reckon they will def bring 2,000 fans to Cardiff and if they could get more they would sell them.

Its all changed with the return of Billy Davies and the successful run they are having. Autos might be a bridge to far for them but they are comfortable about winning the play offs.
Very passionate fans and the club has a lot of history to be proud of. Good times for them.

Super Support by them Ian, theyve gone through a lot of bad times, but stuck with it, kept their pride and tradition and their fans are all behind them because of it and at the moment just looking at the play-offs.![]()

I never said I liked them.
Still brought well over 1,000 fans to us in the past with nothing to play for, our average away this season is nearly half theirs![]()

Annis, I lived up that way for 6 years and watched Forest a few times and had lots of friends who were Forest fans, they are a big club with an awesome recent (well seems recent to me) history -they still have lots of fans around the country who have no link to the area either from their glory days.
They are a bigger club than us, but the gap is shrinking.
As for their away followings.. well we always take more to them than they do to us. Their average is bigger, but hardly surprising
At a rough guess they have the following easy trips - and nearly all straight motorway runs...
Leicester - 20 miles away
Derby - 10 miles away
Sheffield - 40 miles
Birmingham - 40 miles
Wolves 45-50 miles
Barnsley - 50 miles
Huddersfield 60
Watford 70-80
Hardly any of their trips except maybe Brighton and the South London clubs will be over 2 hours.
Even Boro, Hull, Leeds - 4-5 hour journeys for us are all closer than our second closest away .
The ave away going to them is 1500-2000 as well, with Derby and Leicester taking 4000+ most times.

With the exception of Bristol City all of our away games are 100+ miles away.

Our fans were skint then.
Brighton fans travel long distances.
Boro is a poor area and they brought to us 800 odd this season and were not top of the league, face the fact, we have some how lost our once amazing away support.
