I phone 4s,help wanted

Anyone got this phone?,having trouble with the battery life,anyone know if its faulty or I if I can get rid if problem myself,cheers

Mat, PM MERLIN.
He can replace the current battery with a stronger battery that will last significantly longer.
I wouldn't advise booster or battery enhancing devices simply because the burn out quite quickly and don't produce the correct amount of power to re-charge your device,effectively causing more damage.
(As I have found out).

Cheers,I know the battery life is rubbish on these phones,but from being 100% charged at 8 to only 60%at 12,without being used surely that can't be right?

I ve got a lock at top of screen with a circle with an arrow going around it ,anyone know what this is?

close all the apps that's running in the background, also if you are not using 3G then turn it off in the mobile data section of general settings, doing these things will help preserve battery life.

Done it all mate,it's doing my head in now,turned everything off,only thing I can't do us get rid of that lock

I don't know what that lock is to be honest, you might have to put your phone back to default but make sure you save your contacts and photos etc etc before you do that.

The padlock with a circle on it means you can not turn the phone on its side and the screen will also turn (to make it slightly bigger) if you double tap your main button and scroll left you can turn it off/on.
Also if you double tap you can close down all running apps. Hope this helps

It locks the screen rotation.

Double click the home button and swipe the menu that pops up at the bottom to the right. On the far left you should then see a lock icon that lets you lock or unlock screen rotation.

have u done the latest, software update? its partially for the battery and ive noticed a big difference since the update.


used mine quite a bit today and as of now am still on 53%... twitter and facebook will ruin the battery so as long as they are closed after use, you should be getting better life from it.
