Why has nobody bought Wigan or Fulham ?

Thu Mar 14, 2013 8:07 pm

Wigan I can understand., but Fulham is owned by an ageing foreign (not sure if he ever got the passport) bloke who likes a deal, situated in the trendy part of a trendy city and has been a premier league member for a good couple of year now.

If you wanted to buy a piece of the Premier League Fulham would be the place. I was just wondering who Tan thinks he can sell us to if we are rude to him, there doesn't appear to be that many buyers.

I'd buy Everton and make them green.

Because why not?

Wigan near Liverpool, Everton

Fulham in London, smaller than Arsenal, WHU, Chelsea, Spurs.

Cardiff should have been sold years ago to someone who realised its catchment area was phenomenal and greatly unrivalled.

We dont fill the stadium, this catchment area seems to be a myth. For whatever reason people arent interested in Cardiff City. We are a team who have been to Wembley a few times now with cups and play offs, enjoyed good league positions for the last 10 years when you inc promotions and stable positions in the league, but we plataeu with the fan attendance each year very quickly. I think our cealing is alot smaller than what we all thought. As Challanging for medals in the Prem is close to 500million pound away and many many years.

We play in the Championship, constant bad press and a reputaiption for bottling and the club has association with violence and not being family friendly.

Yet we have a ST waiting list of 1,000 due to a chance of Prem football.

So where are they now then? Why isnt there an extra 1000 on the gate? The championship has some of the biggest attendances in Europe, It has clubs who have been in European finals in Boro, European Cup winners in Forest and Derby, Semi finalists in Leeds. The championship is a big league. Probably in the top 5 or 6 attended leagues in Europe.

VT is trying to get rid of the rep by changing the fans. Its the only way it will be done. It doesnt matter about the fans who attend, the rep is with the fans who are part of the hooligan era and dont/wont change.

We have been constantly named as one of the family clubs in the uk for the last few years now aswell.
