According to the trust survey, 86% of our fans disagree with the rebrand.
I know it was a survey of only 700 people but that's a big sample because professional pollsters only usually sample 1,000.
It's a lot of our fans to alienate albeit many have reluctantly accepted it.
Anyway, I'm boring myself now on the rebrand and can't wait for Sheff Wed so I'm going to try to concentrate on the football from now on.

Yet 95% were happy enough to wear the red scarf for the Brighton game, and 700 replies from a data base of over 250,000 registered fans is less than small.
The huge majority who are accepting the situation are not going to bother are they? I'm surprised any replied to say they actually were.

I.M right your wrong fans arguing of the rebrand it will never go away who is right who is wrong .The answer is nobody each has an entitlement to have an opinion thing is Tan has created such an intense debate that has no end .
Look past the rebrand for now and look what has happened to us all its such a strong subject which we are divided on.
Tan created the situation end of if you have anger and strong views on your opinions then maybe we should take it up with Tan not each other.

I must have been at a different game. There was no way that 95% of fans were wearing freebies that night. A large percentage of fans oppose the re brand and on that night if you had given out green scarfs with pink dots on they would have be worn. Give out free scarves on a cold night, what are you going to do ? carry it around all night. How many fans wore red scarves against Leicester. From what I saw not anywhere near 50% even. Slightly different from the "huge support for the re brand" and the 95%.
A survey is a survey and fans views should be taken into account and not have the red rammed down their throats all the time. Every fan is entitled to an opinion and many do not support the rebrand.

A survey that is going to attract the dissenters, the huge majority of our fans are accepting of the situation, or they to, would have voted.

15%~20% at best are wearing the scarf or the red shirt. If Tan hadn't made such a big song about it it probably would have been more, but wearing it or not has a lot of symbolic value now.
I was a reluctant red and understood where Gwyn's support came from, but after the Brighton game all changed, it was make your mind up time and I came down on the anti Tan side.
I feel post Brighton Gwyn (eloquently) speaks for less people than before........

I only speak for myself, made that clear all the way through. Surely a message board is the forum for people to air their views and opinions.

Personally I think the survey accurately reflects the mood of the fan base. That said there are huge extremes between those who "oppose it but accept it for the good of the club" and those who "oppose it no matter what the consequences are"
That's why I am supporting the Trust's efforts here to engage in dialogue with the club about the rebrand and any future changes that there may be.
Vincent Tan said in his interview that he wouldn't hang around if the fans were 'rude' to him. This was obviously a veiled threat about any demonstrations/arguments about more changes i.e. the removal of the Bluebird/Change of name.
But reasoned dialogue is not being ‘rude’ indeed it is quite the opposite. There is also an opportunity for the club to draw on the talents of its fan base for ideas regarding incorporating the Bluebird into any future new badge or kit designs (good examples just look at some of the amazing designs that have been posted on this message board alone) and thus preserving our heritage but also understanding we have a golden opportunity to exploit new marketing strategies in the Far East.
TBH I would love this Message Board to have its own section within the Supporters Trust with either Annis or Carl as our representative on the Board.

Its own section?
Why is their always a them and us attitude?
Why not join and vote ? No one should be held up as an automatic board member......they need to be elected .
