Well you must have kept very quiet Adam, perhaps he thinks the two games a year you attend will be the at the end of the season, perhaps when he realises your not planning to come, then his empire may come crashing down.

Mind you as you stated earlier, even those two game are really classed as one coz you only spend the first half watching the games.

True but there is not enough games left in the season to make any impact, and if we get to the prem there will be thousands that will take the spare seats

How about a sea of blue in every stand or a boycott of buying red merchandise.

Both of those would make him stand up but sadly this season has proved that is not going to happen.

I think what happened at the Brighton game says a lot

I don't.

I'd say what happened after says more. Red getting less and less since Brighton. Many fans realised how wrong it was.

Yep people like a freebie.

If people wanted "rebrand" would this not have been repeated at the next home game?

That'll be me then, except for one little point, I'm not renewing. So where does that fit into your theory?

Re: Like it or not the only way Tan will listen is by....

Thu Mar 14, 2013 11:07 am

I have decided today that I will not re-new for next season. Its a shame and im really gutted that it has come to this but the rebrand has ripped the guts out of this football team.
I have been trying to put up with it all season but deep down i've known that it just aint right. I cant stand the majority of fans at the club, recently i've not given a shit if we score and don't care if the oppo do either. At some point next season they will start chanting 'REDBIRDS' or 'RED ARMY' and i dont want to be there when that happens.
I would love us to go back to blue but like the op said, that will only happen if people stop going, and even though there are a lot of fans against the rebrand they just wont stop going.
gutted!

It does but the worse sell outs are the moaners who claim it isnt cardiff city anymore and hate it so much but will renew for next season.. Hypocrites who will watch something they hate for premiership football :D

I hope that doesnt happen because i wont be singing that shit  Its bad that it comes to fans stopping going because of what has happened. I still enjoy going but like you if i stop enjoying it i will stop going...

^^^ THIS
I will not turn my back on the manager or the team that is Cardiff City FC, if that ever changes then it's goodbye from me.
I will always support Cardiff City FC home and away like I always have so why should I stop going to games and cut off my nose to spite my face coz if I don't go then the new breed fan will take my place or anyone else that don't go, so like I said I will stop going and supporting the team I love if/when it's not called Cardiff City FC any longer.

This statement is misleading, as there are two ways of looking at things!
Whilst the sea of red has certainly diminished since the Brighton game, with less fans wearing their freebie from that night, there's still a considerable amount of fans who've worn them since, so the amount of red has increased from what it was prior to the Brighton game!

Whilst I prefer to wear blue myself, it astounds me that so many of our fans who complain about the team wearing the colour red, don't wear team colours themselves, but attend matches wearing their chavvie River Island, Stone Island or Fila "Trendy Wear!" :)

So to want the team to have their correct identity, you must wear a blue shirt? What nonsense!

I haven't worn replica shirts since I was a kid - it's not for me. Neither do I wear "clobber".

All I want is the club to respect traditions and the clubs identity.

Wondered what would have happened if people had a choice of blue or red.

i agree it wasnt a fair test but people who are against it would not have taken them. but most people did, even saturday there was more red than blue. im not happy with red but its the club i love and when the team is on the pitch i forget about it and enjoy the football.
