Can you imagine if vt announced in the next week we would return to blue for next season ? I honestly believe it would create such a massive frenzy that every home game until the end of the season would sell out , away allocations would sell out and everyone would be buzzing and would unite once again . NP was rocking when we were top of this league back in 2006. We have been top now for most of this season and the place is dead.

Also remember that that was the first time we had been top of the league. Now we've been there so often and failed, the fans are just nervous and just want to see us promoted.

Rocking?? I seem to remember regularly seeing thousands of empty spaces at games in 05-06 season. Prob averaged about 13k that year,and pretty sure we averaged about 15k the year after. Whilst I prefer a 4 sided ground to these new goldfish bowls. NP was a dump. A laughing stock of a ground, only known for hooligans.

We used to boo and get on our players backs just as much back then as now. Never supported our own properly. Think as long as we sing and abuse the away team that its fine to slate your own players and get on the backs. Sadly most of our fans lack a football brain.

So after several months of being treated like excrement on the bottom of VT's shoes, do you really think many long time bluebirds would be willing to forgive and forget? I think you underestimate how much humiliation has been felt by city fans, and how long the nasty taste will last.

Ninian park might not have been rocking week in week for 90 mins each game but, c'mon, it was a hell of a lot better than every game at CCS, bar maybe the swansea game and playoffs.
