I believe that Gestede was brought on last night to give Nugent a get out clause when he had the ball in defence so he did not have to pick a pass just hoof it into an area. In the end a good decision as we know.
If Nugent starts on Saturday I expect Gestede to also start for the reason above.

Need cover immediately unfortunately Nugent is not the answer at back he can't distribute or tackle then let's the ball bounce. Experience needed now.

Think we all knew this was comming tbh annis, lets be real here we needed more cover 9months ago but MM has not got anyone, if we fail to go up this season this will get blame as to why we never went up, like last season we had the not enough numbers excuse come the end of may come yet the whole season we was told the players are fine and have no fatigue, makes no sence i can see the same thing again but this time blamed on the cover for the backline as the scape goat

Yep bu there gone for a game or two so who we got , hardly anyone to slot in

Having only 5 senior defenders was always going to cause a problem at some point but couldn't have come at a worse time. Should definitely get cover in but not sure Malky will act. When we had problems two years ago we only managed to get j Lloyd Samuel in so may not be many options available.
