His actual defending and positioning were ok in my opinion, it's just his distribution is dire, probably due to being slightly nervous and inexperienced, his passing makes super Kev look like Dai Becks!

At the end of the day though in the position we are in we shouldn't be relying so heavily on a youngster, he should be making the odd cameo only, we just don't have enough options at the back.

Yeah I thought he done alright. Midfield was the problem tonight. We basically had defence then attack, there was no midfield linking the play up, no creativity what so ever. Now whether that was down to tiredness or whatever then that's an issue that malky needs to address by rotating the team and bringing in Kim, Cowie,kiss or McPhail. Did Nugent do anything wrong? Was his passing any worse than whittinghams tonight? Seems to me you're looking for a scapegoat

That's correct the team was poor tonight, don't see why nugent deserves a special mention, I can't recall him making any mistakes tonight? Can you? I remember gunnarsson making a poor pass second half straight to one of their midfielders resulting in a counter attack and them nearly scoring. They were all poor tonight simple as that

Hudsons first and even second season the VAST majority said he was a conference player at VERY best. Lacked pace, lacked leadership, didnt win a lot in the air and basically an awful player. The DJ haters loved the fact he was such an awful buy and now we cant seem to play with out him.

If you read what I said, I said it was no worse than whittinghams or gunnarssons for that matter. Second half there was no midfield linking up with the strikers what so ever, it was just defence and attack basically. He's a young boy, he's not an accomplished centre half yet. He's still learning his trade. He wasn't brilliant but he certainly didn't play awful.

He was unbelievably shit tonight, as was the rest of the team.

Give him two years though and he'll be worth a lot of money.

You know what I meant, he didn't give a goal away did he tonight? If a player didn't give a foul away or make a poor pass then He'd be playing for barcelona not Cardiff city, we're not Barcelona by the way. Have a sleep on it

Let's not forget he has had to play with 3 different centre halfs in the last few games as well as playing out of position against derby.

I'm not as harsh as Polo but there is no excuse at this level for his poor distribution of the ball playing from the back, no we aren't Barcelona but we are Cardiff City, a team on the verge of playing in one of the top 2 leagues in the world. You can't give the ball away like he did last night, he needs to be far more composed, I hope he sorts that aspect of his game out soon, he have a bright future if he does.
