Something Annis said to me tonight.

Tue Mar 12, 2013 10:07 pm

That he feels disillusioned watching us at home and doesn't recognise his club anymore .

And I must admit I looked in his eyes and saw a hurt man.

Now I have seen Cardiff away this season and in seasons past have watched them play in red.
But this was my first home game since the rebrand I can see his point of view.
I accept the conditions of the rebrand and am greatful for the financial help Tan has given.

BUT I DID NOT RECOGNISE CARDIFF CITY TONIGHT.

I left the ground and entered sloped road looking across at what is now a bunch of houses and I feel empty.

I'm still hurt more by the fans turning on each other than anything else and I resent Tan for that.

I would never wear red but I will never abuse someone who will wear red.

It will a long drive back north for me and I will always follow Cardiff, but I have a feeling inside like I've lost a friend I've known for many years.

Have a safe journey home. Respect to a loyal fan. CCFC will always be the bluebirds to me.

Stick with it. There have been many difficult chapters in this clubs history and maybe this is one of the worst. That clown Tan will move on at some point, he has had it easy so far because the team has done well. I don't think he has the stomach for when the team start losing and the natives get restless.

In my opinion, you've hit the nail on the head there.

Things would be a lot different if we weren't where we are in the league..

While i appreciate you have travelled a long way to a home game i tend to disagree with you, but im sure when you realise who i am its not the first time. We have lost the atmosphere at home but not our sole as proved in many away games. As long as i have followed the city which is not as long as many, the atmosphere has always been better away from home. The city love an away trip

Dean, mate I'm back in my parents house in Pentwyn for the first time in over a year and I feel lost pal.

I've watched Cardiff play infront of 1500odd at Ninian Park with only the Canton and grandstand open.
And it had a better atmosphere at times.

But that's not my issue. I don't know how to describe what I'm feeling mate, maybe if I had seen every home game I may or may not acclimatised to the situation. But I was with my Father (In his red shirt) and I just felt empty pal.

I feel exactly the same as you so much so the hurt is getting worse not better and to see leicester play in are blue at are place with all those blue scarfs and all the abuse the away fans always give us has done me.

I am just about surviving each match and for the first time ever I didnt care if we lost I am done in and hurting badly.

I am ready to call it a day after 34 years but my two sons still want to go so I am going to have to suck it up and go but how its a mad situation to be in and one I never thought would happen .I am almost wishing we stay in the cham as the tide against Tan may change then .I would sacrifice the prem for my club back any day.So Annis I no how you feel but what can you do its up to Tan and his mind is made up and for me I cant change I have tried to go with the flow but I cant no matter how hard I try.
The love for my club is to much to leave are identity go when the leicester fans sang where's your bluebird gone etc I was gutted to here that.
Its a horrible place to be and all Tans doing and I hate him for it. :ayatollah:

Tony, then you know i was with you as a kid at the same time but as much as i hate it, its happened and the new stadium was never going to have the same atmosphere and we all knew it, red or blue that is, the atmosphere was poor before the rebrand mate.....and we all know it. Cant fault you for your support from up there as well mate, all the best to you and your family x
