Aye the season we were promoted.

I remember some Ben Nugent kid scoring a worldie a few weeks back, the kid tucked away with class tbf, pure quality finish!

Heidar Helguson scored a brilliant volley against us for Watford at the first season of the CCS. But overall I don't really have a good memory of goals scored against us but only for us.

That Northampton goal, he scored two crackers and the whole bob bank applauded

Matt Le Tissier scored a goal against us in the league cup many years ago. He skinned every City player 3 times each just to rub it in! Gabbiadini and Ched Evans goals were absolute belters too.

I also think a Barnet player scored a free kick from about 40 yards against us which got a round of applause.

Le Tiss was class that night. Got dogs abuse and managed to turn it into a standing ovation which was rare for
an away player at NP.

Agree with Gabbiadini. Not many opposition goals got applauded but they were quality.

Le Tiss was a class above everyone else on the pitch that day but he got a standing ovation from the City fans at the end after a bit of stick during the game "You should've played for Wales!" and to be fair he applauded us at the end too ! Top man and one season virtually had his own Goal of the season on MOTD

Yea that was an excellent goal. Didn't he also score a brilliant one for Wales U-21's around the same time?

I would also add Colchester's 3rd goal in a 3-0 defeat at NP (I think) in 2003. It was the game where the crowd booed Lennie Lawrence for taking Gareth Ainsworth off but stood up and appluaded that goal.

I haven't been around long enough, so probably Robert Koren this season. I can't remember too many screamers scored against us in the last few years

Gabbiadini - No doubt about that one

Dean windass hit a cracker against us at Ninian park. Was right behind it in the Grange and the swerve and dip was amazing. Jimmy Bullard hit a good 1 in the new stadium against us, think he had 2 that night for Ipswich. Was also quite impressed with Peterboros Cb smashing that freekick move this season

Remember being 2-1 up at Watford and Mcanuff scoring a real screamer from out wide, to equalise in the last minute.
